Eagle point is perfectly suited for those into water sports - boat ramp is located at bottom of park and shady grass areas on the waters edge are ideal for those hot summer days. The Mitchell River boat ramp is located within a mere 5minute drive from the park - perfect for a bit of river fishing. Tambo River also within a short distance. Paynesville township is a short 5-10minute drive perfect for cafe dining or a stroll along the foreshore for the Sunday markets. The little boutique town of Metung is 30 mins by car or a short boat trip away where you can pull up at the pub for a bite to eat - great fishing over that way also. Lakes Entrance is 45mins by car. Eagle point Caravan Park is a lovely community park where kids ride bikes, swim in the pool, kick the footy, play cricket etc etc We love it and we are not leaving only moving onto another caravan that is more suited to our needs. Oh and one of the big attractions for the big kids ..... Camp fires are allowed on non total fire ban days.
